Does anyone know about any TransAlp routes between Garmisch – Mittenwald – Innsbruck – Cortina – Feltre – Bassano. Will be doing it this summer.

Have done a more westerly route twice before.

Ta

Chris

Are you doing the race? Foolishly, I am.

All the maps for each of this year's stages are on the Transalp site.

I have a couple of old TA route maps/road books, not sure if they go where you need. It was all a bit of a blur at the time and I was very tired. I will try and dig them out and have a look, new I was saving them for something - mail me, address in profile.

not doing the race, will be making up our own route. Hopefully take in some better riding and spend much more time up high as well as staying in mountain huts

I have a few routes for my GPS, let me have your e-mail and I'll send you them.
If you can read German, I can copy some N-S routes from the Ulrich Stanciu book, which is used as the transalp bible in Germany.

I'm doing a crossing from Germany to Italy later in the year. The German chap who is organising it gets most of his info from here, I think:

I believe we're doing the Albrecht route. Can't wait! 🙂
