Perhaps you have been there, and felt the Mistral whistling past as you descend the sweetest forest trails you've ever ridden. Or, grumpily read STW online before trudging round a castle with your family, bikeless and bereft.

If it's the former, where did you do it, and where might a man hire a bike and or guide to help him do the same?

Got a few days there in August, fancy a day's riding if I can get it.

Cheers

I've had a couple of days around Najac in the west of the Aveyron. Loads of forest trails and not many people.

The Aveyron is pretty big, but in general a good way to find trails is to look at where the FFC trail centres are http://sitesvtt.ffc.fr/ and then have a poke around on GPS trace sites like http://www.utagawavtt.com/

Can't help with bike hire, sorry.
