lost my FRONT mudguard ...who knows when never found again
found a rear one though

Lost a cycle computer (teach you to check after every crash)
mobile phone ..dont ask

lost the will to live on a hill in the lakes but found it again on the descent does that count as well?

lost a pair of near new north face shades on a descent riding the fungle path.

found a hope bulb 12mm disk side cap
half a mountain mammoth pump
a bit of a crud catcher
a whole mountain mammoth pump

I once found a C ring from the bottom of a Fox shock in the Alps. Really mad thing was, I know who lost it a few weeks earlier before I got out there!

Lost the rebound adjuster knob from my Rebas. I'd imagine that's pretty common, seems like they just drop out!
And a TLD glove.

Exciting to find, utterly pointless to keep (think i donated them to a shop in case they ever needed spares).

I've left a trail of tools across the Pentlands when i stupidly kept them in the underside pocket of my Deuter (where the waterproof cover normally goes) and left it open.

oh yes ive also left multi tools at most race events across the uk(i now hate saddlebags...only any good when you zip tie the zips together and still useless as you cant get into teh ****ers .... and i left a really good SKS one up the sidlaws ....despite going back early the next morning to look for it (was a night ride i lost it on) i couldnt find it ...
