Regularly visit non biking friends down here but wondered if there are any trails? I know Aston Hill is about 25miles away. Any others?

Lots of trails East of Luton, N East of Harpenden.
Up and down Chiltern ridge XC riding.
Woburn Sands and Chicksands aren't too far away.

Also http://www.sillygrin.co.uk/index.htm are more widely spread but do a fair bit of riding within striking distance of Luton.
Woburn's the best place to start if it's not too far, the rest is more about piecing stuff together. It's ideal for just riding round finding stuff and more weather-resistant than most areas here. Wheathamsted seems to have potential but I only pass through occasionally, don't know it well.
