Afternoon All,
Going over week after next for the weekend, to see an old mate who lives just outside Belfast. He has a spare bike but hasn't ridden much local stuff so is 'not up' on the local scene.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, are there any trail centres or where is the natural stuff?
Any websites?
Cheers for any help
Hi Waihiboy
I'm current living in NI and normally out most weekends but busy for the next couple. but there are a friendly bunch at mtbrider.com who go out most of te time.
There's no such trail centres across here but some reasonable local stuff. around belfast your restricted to bevior or cave hill I suppose, but the lads on the forum will probably show you round.

Trail centres in N.Ireland?
Is this some kind of troll!?
Is this some kind of troll!?
WTF??
Barry is alluding to the fact that at the moment there is only one trail centre in the whole of Ireland and to put it (very) politely the Forestry Commission of NI haven't exactly been supportive of mountain biking!
Check out this site for some more trail info though.
Ah... sorry i thought he was taking the P as with all the 'current situation'.
Many thanks for the links guys, i might post on the forums to see if anyone can show us around rather than waste time.
I'll be staying in Dromore..
If you are in the dromore area you are close to the mournes.
Ask on mtbrider as already suggested and for routes have a look at Not The Sunday Run
Its very much not trail centre style riding though. Its out in the hills, pushing bits, walking bits... plenty of fireroads and some brilliant bits of single track.
