I did this event in 2016 - enjoyed it in a wholly Weekend Warrior style and my Double Header PTSD has now mostly gone. Have received emails saying it is back on for 2019 and I see PB has run the press release as a news item. Quite fancy entering this year but:
Question - it's being promoted as a Trail Addiction event but I thought they went bust in 2017 after a falling out with French tax authorities supposedly motivated by a protective (guiding) practices row.
Anyone have additional background?
From Pinkbike article
4EventSport - the French MTB events specialist (Ski2Bike, L’Arcadienne), is relaunching Enduro2 in collaboration with Enduro2’s original creator; Ali Jamieson (formerly trailAddiction,Trans-Savoie)
Just so we're clear, if he ****s off with everyone's money again, anyone coming on here complaining is getting a chinese burn.
He didn't do that last time Northwind. A fuller explanation for those who care is here, he's just advising the new organisers on the event.

Thanks for those links which I hadn't followed properly - everything I was looking at seemed to go back to old TA sites.
Double Header PTSD
😂
Double Header PTSD
I literally still have the scars 😁
Wheels and pedals went through a gap between two rocks, leg didn't. I was still about 2 minutes faster than my mate who had a bit of a sense of humour failure on that one.
