Looking for a carrier to take 3 / 4 modern mtb's.

Had a play with an Atera Strada, but was a bit too narrow and bikes were too close together so they just bash and 3rd /4th bikes were a problem to fit. I'm ideally looking for over 19cm between rails and take 1300 or 1250 wheelbase at a pinch. I also want it to fit in an estate boot when away.

Much research is indicating I'm looking at anywhere from £600 - £1k to get something that covers everything. E.g. Thule easyfold (velo space is too wide), Atera Forza L. Am i missing anything sub £500? Doesn't seem like what i need is particularly exotic. Second hand are few and far between for these.

Look at the Buzzrack range from roof box company. The Buzzrack scorpion folds up when not in use.

Another vote for Buzz rack Scorpion.

Scorpion looks like tbe best plan B option, ideally I want the otion to carry 4 bikes so I can loose all the roof gubbins.

Another vote for Buzzrack here. With 4 modern bikes you also need to start keeping an eye on the max vertical weight your car is happy with

We're all good for nose loading, 100kg.

Just remember nose weight capacity ≠ rack capacity.

Cheers, the option to take 4 is needed, that and £££ counts an Epos out, as good as they look.

Our max towbar loading is 100kg, thanks to air suspension, so we've got weight to play with.
