Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a new torque wrench, Would only use it on my bikes so presumably it wouldn't need to be a heavy duty piece of kit. So wondering if anyone can recommend one...

I've got an X-tools one, it was about £30 from CRC.

2-20Nm I think. Its perfectly adequate. You can get some really expensive ones but for what I actually use it for and how often I need it it does the job.

Norbar, a real high quality tool that can be re-calibrated and feels great to use.

I bought the x-tools from crc.
Using it just for the bike and seems good quality.

I've got the topeak version of this. Works well for the odd bit or torquing that I need to do.

I’ve a small Planet X jobsworth one that does up to 20nm (assume it’s the same as the xtools one), and a Halfords advanced one that does up to 60nm, and works both ways, for Drivetrain stuff. Happy with them both.

I got a Norbar one after recommendations on here, it's lush. Only works the one way mind, which is a shame for BB's...

Another X-Tools user here. No issues and works ok on the bike.

Thanks very much everyone, really helpful. I like the look of the Decathlon wrench the best, prefer the dial at the base, the Norbar looks like an amazing bit of kit but by the time you've bought the bits for it would be more than my occasional use warrants...
After being on the Decathlon website it Looks like it would be prudent to put the whole thing on a back burner for a while...
Hope you're all getting out for a ride (within gov. guidelines of course), it sure is keeping me sane.
Best wishes
David

I have a birzman digital, which feels nice and weighty in the hand and has lasted well. For occasional use I would recommend.

If you work quickly or do a lot of fiddling it might annoy you though as it takes a few secs for the settings to confirm once adjusted.
