I woke up planning to go to Dartmoor but the roads were icey and webcams showed the snow still falling down that way . So I made a few calls and headed for the Qs with Charlie. The sun was out and the skies were blue but it was cold in the woods. We stopped at the Plough in Holford for lunch for a change. Not the biggest of rides but it was good to be out and about. No crashes just another set of pads worn out ! Comments ?

They actually invited us in today! Very hospitable, we, No I decided we'd sit in the sun! Not a bad bit of grub either!

anyway thats my first off road ride of the year done and dusted.
Twas lovely up there once i got there, no riding for me as racing tomorrow.
The plough is/was up for tender so perhaps the red nosed grumpy **** has made way for a more hospitable host.
I went in the Carew tonight and will be negotiating with them for future bargains for MTB guests, which may include a morning up lift and after lunch lift the the top for dining riders....sassy barmaid too 😉
