yes top barn in front of the house NOT the barn though they are next to each other. There are two barns for those not familiar the bottom one can be seen from the road next to go ape [ which you cant see but is signed iirc. The house is at the top of the road opposite this turning

Oh dear. Well we best not start telling uncle Jezza stories about a certain person who's coming Saturday (but will remain nameless to spare blushes) turning up in Hope minus a front wheel 😀

roads and using a map would be my choice
TBH if you cant get there unaided you are obviously too stupid to ride with the great minds that will have passed the entrance exam by getting there.
HTH.
EDIT: nbt that is cheating

there is loads of parking all the way up the drive to the hall/barn ignore the P signs on the link

Wot tyres? 🙂 Is it going to be boggy? rocky?

It's degenerated into a What tyres thread!!! 😆
Not as boggy as I'd expected up there last night and junky' route is not a boggy one anyway by the look of it.
Only rocky bit is the ICR and thats more like loose stones/boulders than "rocky" as in a big lump of rock.

what's the fixation on asking what tyres to use? I use those ones made from rubber usually. is there some other material that I haven't heard of?

I do swap 'em about depending - light xc tyres are good for dry and distances but tend to pinch flat and wash out in mud, DH tyres in various guises (wet / dry) for rocky stuff but awful draggy

Highclimber - I have plenty of excuses. Just getting warmed up. I have put big slow heavy tyres on teh bike. Probably the wrong ones for the conditions - thats two excuses there already

TJ, i'll be running a supertacky 2.35" highroller front and 60a 2.35" minion DH rear (since that's what i always have on!) on my stiffee for saturday, so there you go!
i'm also planning on speeding up a bit so i can keep binners company at the rear of the ride...

really looking forward to this. tomorrow, i shall be making blueberry choc chip brownies and possibly triple ginger cookies if i have time, for post-ride sharing.

You first Binners, I've not seen you do that either
