I need some help please. I've got a 2008-ish Titus X. Awesome knock around MTB.
My problem is I need to rebuild the Fox Float RP23 rear shock and I can't figure out how to remove it from the swingarm. The bolt is out and there's what look like a spacer on either side of the eye of the shock. They move freely, but are slightly inset to the carbon fiber tabs of the swingarm. Other than that there's what looks to be a fixed (bonded into the CF) metal washer in one tab and a fixed threaded insert on the other. I lightly tried to pry it out, but it doesn't seem right.
Someone must have have done a rebuild on one of these. I can't find any info online or anyone who was a dealer... Stuck.
Help if you can! Thanks!
I will post there too. Thanks!

No, unfortunately those instructions skip over what I need to remove at the base of the shock. It seems crazy, but maybe I have to remove the whole swingarm to get enough clearance to separate the top of the shock from the bottom. Even then, if someone were to damage the bottom of the shock, there must be a way...
