They got good reviews when they came out, it's been a few years though! They only seemed to be around for a year or two before Titec stopped making them

They're good, but very narrow IIRC.

I had a pair, lasted 2 rides, and I sold them on.

Now running H Bars on my krampus, and love them.

Cheers, I got on very well with some Marys when I had tennis elbows(!)

I guess are these NOS? or fakes? Bit of an odd ebay seller.

Yup, that's a genuine shop... it's where I got mine from.

They're legit - Titec licensed the design from Jones for a bit and 660mm was the original width of the J/H-bar. I cut my H-bars down anyway - kept bashing my knuckles on the trees on my local singletrack.

Anyone got advice on fitting grips, brakes and gear lever positions. I have read that thumbies work best and that the brake is on the far side of the bar and the lever behind if that makes sense?

ill take that site either selling fakes or the product not existing at all.....

are the angle on J bars different as i have original 660 loops and i have a set of Titec J bars .

They feel VERY different widths.

Need to lay them on top of each other i think.

I found them a bit too short to cram the levers and changers(rapid fire) on to the main handle part, mounted on the inner part of the bars, the changers felt a bit odd,so thumbies would make a lot of sense.

I've a few of each type and they're identical angles, between the J-bar (660) and the Jones Ti Hs (660) only the curve at the tips and the x-sect of the centre bar varies slightly. The Loop bar has a different centre bar so the brakes and shifters can go behind it rather than in front on the original.
So

Yes, brake clamp on front section, thumbie in front also, trigger shifter behind though not ideal and needs a bit of fiddling. Some triggers with adjustable clamp-to-body bolts can go in front and work OK.

I use the Titec H bars, not the J's, ๐Ÿ™„ but ... and assuming they are similar enough proportions - this is how I've set mine up.

For completeness, that's a set of XT (cable) brake levers & Dura Ace bar-end shifters on SJS/Jtek converters on the hooks. The grips are 'small' Ergon GP1 BioKork.

Yeah, that's it as far as I can tell (on the Titec versions).
