TRyinh to get the reservoir cap off with teh 2mm allen key and the thing seems seized in and rounded now.
Any ideas how to get the allen bolt out now?
Dremel to cut a slot maybe - only thing is it is a recessed bolt so not much head-room
Tips please

Old style levers? I did my old style ones by cutting a slot with a hacksaw - two blades in the saw gets you a wider slot. gaffer tape protects the lid
Before you cut a slot. try tapping a torq bit in often works with round allen heads.
When you put it back together use a little cooperslip on the threads, Steel alloy and brake fluid, its going to seize.
yep old style sounds like a plan will give that a try
Thanks

a brand new allen key might undo it?
If you wreck the top cap I may have a couple in my spares.
I changed the bolts when i got mine out, to a standard flat top cap head for a larger allen key.
I guess you have the dome headed bolts? After rounding mine off I bought replacements from Wiggle and they are much higher profile. Think they are a 2.5mm allen key as well.
I dremel'd a screw driver slot in mine and got out.
I replaced them with similar sized Allen key bolts but ones which weren't made of cheese.
I once tried everything I could think of with mine to no avail. Ended up taking an angle grinder to the bolt heads...
