I have just tinkered with my bikes, put new chain on my single speed and oiled my hardtail chain, i know it is not much but now i feel a lot better. I have not had chance to get out on my bike for over a week ๐Ÿ™

why does even working my bikes make me feel better? just imagine what i am like when i do get out on my bike ๐Ÿ˜€

just thought i would share it.

When you touch a bicycle, your molecules become infused with the bike's and its molecules with yours. When you sit on the saddle the exchange is more forceful than when you tinker. Which is why a fettle is better than nothing, but nothing is better than going for a ride.

I feel better now I have wizzed around my local roads shorts, open shirt - no helmet, passing commuters returning from work.

Oddly enough i've been having a pre ride tinker this evening too. Time to tackle those annoying clicks i've been having.
Just giving it the once over before tomorrow eves ride. I am soooo looking forward to getting out. First time offroad for about a month. Warm and dry trails, mmm hhhmmm.

Nezbo, I'm too a tinkerer :D. Sometimes get almost as much enjoyment from fitting new parts and servicing, so as good as new, as I do from riding down a nice dry swoopy trail. Its odd but part of the hobby I think, entwined with riding is fettling ๐Ÿ˜‰
