[Closed] Tight Octalink adapter

I'm still running Octalink cartridge BBs. I noticed with my current build the the aluminium adapter (non-drive side) seemed particularly tight this time around (the cartridge could be screwed all the way in with my fingers). In fact initially I was worried that I was crossing the thread. I bit the bullet and screwed in it, removed it again and the threads looked fine, so fitted it and did it up to torque. I've never bothers have BB shell threads chased but would it be worth doing when I need to replace the BB or might it just be a tolerance issue with the adapter?
