Been noticing them recently - got mad cramps in them when swimming breastroke, in particular. I'm guessing it stems from cycling - anyoen recommend an exercise/stretch or two?

I seem to remember lying on the back and using one of those elastic strips to be a good thing?

Just hang upside-down, legs as straight as is comfy but feeling the stretch, push your tail bone up to the sky, bend your arms and rock gently back n forth, side to side and circles. Do 2 mins x 3. Do the bending down and coming back gently with bent legs - straighten them to stretching point once down there.

There are loads of hamstring stretches - too many for me to list, but my favourite time saver one is to simply part my legs slightly (ooer!) and just bend over gently, resting my head near my knees. You can then vary the stretch by adjusting the width between your feet and differing the angle at which your toes are pointing.

Once warmed up stick one leg out in front of you (heel resting on something at around hip height), keep your pelvis facing forward and your back straight and just sit into it and hold
