I've just pulled one out if my leg and I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone to be on the lookout for these little buggers - warmer weather, bivvying/camping etc....

pulling 3 or 4 a day off my dog at the moment, so they are definately more of them around than usual.

Always worth carrying a tick hook with you. A mate of mine is a tick magnet, but Avon SSS seems to keep them off. Even if you don't use the stuff for midges, it may be worth using on your legs
