Which is best for long low and slack modern bikes with 2.8 tyres?

My large Nukeproof Mega and Ragley Bluepig just about fit on the proride 598 rack. The wheels actually sit slightly further forward than the centre of the wheel holder.
I’d see if you can try before you buy.
I actually emailed Thule with feedback as the rack could do with being made 12” longer to deal with modern geo MTBs.
