Anyone had any problems with the plastic wheel strap housing of the Thule Proride 591? It has cracked and split at the V and I suspect that the extra cold weather over winter may have made it brittle. I only had this bike rack for 2 years. Is there anywhere I can get replacements?
Thanks Rob, just what I wanted, "wheel holder unit", shame I have to buy two to replace them (the back one is heading that way too). Anyone had similar problem, is it worth flagging it up with Thule or is this down to wear and tear?

Mine are the same, I mailed Thule hoping they might offer to send me some for free but they didn't 🙂 The above comes with buckles etc as apparently you can't just order the plastic part.

I hamfistedly snapped a tyre tray from a 591 that was 2 years old
Rang Thule UK Customer services, explained that I broke it & how (I did heave the bike onto the carrier and clobber the tyre tray!) they sent a new one FOC!
I was nice as pie to them on the phone, that always helps.
