I’m buying a new tow bar mounted bike rack, for 2 bikes.
Sort of narrowed it down to these two, are there any reasons not to go for the cheaper.
Thanks
Paul

i prefer the cheaper and that's what i have, i've tried the Euroride but had issues routing the arms with 3 bikes. Didn't like the ratchet fastening system either.

The Euroride 2 looks to be the better rack of the two.
It’s more sturdily made especially around the lighting board, and can take heavier bikes. It clamps the bike top tube rather than using a strap and it also locks to the tow bar, whereas the cheaper one needs an optional accessory lock. Currently £274 at Tweeks.

If it avoids the expense of fitting a tow bar, and only 2 bikes, I can heartily recommend the 9105, absolutely bomb proof, much to my surprise. I have one that I'll be getting shot of, but it's too big to post.

Thanks, I already have a tow bar so would prefer to use it and keep bikes off the car.
I was edging towards the euro ride anyway as it can hold more weight. Do they fit bigger downhill tyres ok?

I used to have a Atera Strada DL, that was great and still going strong 10 years later with a mate using it now

2.5 is a struggle, anything less is fine
