Fitting a towbar next week to the T5 and need a new bike rack.

Must move out the way far enough for the tailgate to open with 2 bikes on.

Bikes are a pair of Whyte T130s, one medium one large, so not the biggest bikes but reasonable size.
Also need to be able to fit fat bikes on but don't mind a bit of fettling to make something for the wheels/get some bigger straps.

Is the 928 the one to go for our are there any better options?

Sorry I know this gets asked reasonably regularly.....

Cheers

General concensus is that it doesn't tilt out the way enough for a vertical van tailgate. Atura strada dl is the go-to option

I've got a Thule Euroway fitted to a Bongo and can open my tailgate. I had to extend the towball a little.

Cheers but this

Suggests it does clear and I've read about adjusting the amount it tilts.

The Thule looks like it'll take up less space in the garage too which is important (and I missed in my first post).

It's around 10 years old I think. Definitely called a Euroway when it came out. Thinking about it, I only extended the towball to give the bars more clearance against the rear window, it already tilted far enough.
