Hi I am new to this forum.

So happens that next week I have to babysit while my wife attends business meeting in Preston. I'll have 6-7 hours to spend looking after one year old child. My idea is to take him on a small bike trip.

Could members recommend some bike routes around Preston (within hours drive or so). Please note that I'll have child trailer behind my bike.

Thanks
K

Here you go https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/cycling/guild-wheel/

Stop off at brockholes for a bit if it's a nice day

Or head to Blackpool and ride up and down the prom and stop off for a notriannis

As above the Guild Wheel is a good shout.

Beacon Fell is not too far away and has some off road trails that might be okay with a trailer. It's not very big, and a bit hilly but off road and family friendly.

Thanks for suggesting to do Guild wheel. Little one was well entertained.
