Looking to replace my Rouge Echo fanbike with its ridic 240 mmm knee busting Q factor with a fluid turbo trainer like the Lifeline TT-02 and get some money back in the process. Seems like the simplest option given I've already got a powermeter and I can leave the thru axle in the bike and be outdoors again very quickly (I'm a one bike man..).
Not going to use it for out of the seat sprinting much, so I'm assuming most models will be robust enough most I will do is probably sustained 1000W efforts (1 minute in 2021? heheee). Needs to be compatible with 142x12 mm thru axles.
Ideally not looking to spend more than £150 new or used. Recommendations?
Lifeline TT-02 (new or used, but sold out ATM).
ELITE Qubo Power Fluid (used, allegedly very quiet and needs to adjustments).
Saris/Cycleops fluid2
Seems like the answer is whichever I can find..
Aaand the only one i could find was a used lifeline tt-02 for £100..
