Looking for a short break with the road bike in February. Ideally somewhere close to an airport with some good road riding and warm weather. I've looked at the standard costa coast options, but it's hard to tell whether the riding in worth making a trip for. What about Girona area, or that too cold in February?
Really wanting to make it a low hassle, low cost trip to maximise the time we've got available. All suggestions welcome.

Yeah February is the sticking point. It's going to be hit and miss weather where ever we end up going, but it will be better than saying in the UK and not riding.
Tenerife is an option I suppose, but a little more expensive than spain/majorca etc. Italy seems ridiculously expensive in comparison to spain. Strange.
This is the climate for Southern Spain, the best chance in Europe for some Winter sun.

In February there will be a chance of rain but at least it will be warm rain!
Flights into Malaga will be good value then.
