Anyone have any thoughts on the Trek Fuel EX 5 29?

Have a £1500 budget and this seems to tick all the boxes. Tried a Giant Anthem 29 recently and was impressed but wasn't overly keen on the gearing.
I have the next model up (fuel ex6 29er)had it about a month or so and so far so good,first 29er I've had so nothing to compare it to on that front but it's is FAST covers ground like nothing else I've had,shock and fork and rear linkage is excellent,specs not bad a few things I would upgrade but as I tend to keep bike quite a while that would be happening anyway,GO test one I think you'll like it 😀
Cheers my good man. I was looking at the EX 6 as well but can't quite stretch the extra dosh! My original budget was 1200 but I re-evaluated fairly quickly! Just want something with decent spec running 29's. Glad to hear your enjoying the EX6 though and that there's scope for upgrades as well down the line!
