A few months back I saw SportPursuit were selling some sort of face-protection item that was like half a balaclava, almost like a buff, and they had freaky designs on them like a sharks mouth, or a clowns mouth.
Anyone know what they're called? And has anyone used one to help keep the freezing wind off their face? Do the breating holes stay over the mouth/nose or do they keep falling down?
I assume that you mean these? ๐

Not sure I'd wear one myself, I prefer to just use a buff......
Yes! Those were the ones. Thanks!
I do wonder if cars might give a bit more room for a cyclist wearing one of these: http://airholefacemasks.com/portfolio/defenceman-2/
Dunno, I've only seen them worn by accountants on Harley Davidsons, and Chavs handging arround the enterances to shopping centers. In both cases my prejudiced oppinion of the wearer is [s]absolute badass[/s] tryhard douche.
Respro make some less ugly ones IIRC designed for filtering trafic fumes. But IMO a buff keeps the neck warm and anything over the mouth gets wet and sweaty as soon as you breathe into it.
