Lemmeguess.....Triathmong?
It did have tri-bars on the front, yes ๐
Lots of tri bikes have forward seatposts
Do they indeed? Looked bloody weird to me.
Yeh it's so you can get a position that gives fresher legs for running after the bike leg.
Strange breed

Useful if you're a bit late and you've got a train to catch.
Campy ESP on that bike and its dirty = someone is quite serious
My inline Thomson ended up with a similiarly jaunty layside.

Time Trial bikes are the same but do it via seat tube angle as frame is built for TT.
Although there is a UCI rule that enforces tip of saddle to be x distance from BB (vertically) which may not apply in Triathlon so maybe less extreme in TT.

That one looks like it's had some 'help' to get it as forward as it is.
My TT bike has the same to move my position forward on an old bike with conventional road, not TT, geometry. Thomson are an excellent choice because many posts can't reverse the clamp!
I also have a matching 130mm stem.
I know it looks like a work place lock up, but I'd be checking there is actually something lockable under that foam! Isn't the latest trick to mask over the lock up bar somehow?!!

saw through bar, tape over join, wait for people to lock bikes to it.
Having said that I was just thinking 'that's a great idea to save damaging bikes at work' ๐
(Looks like Photobucket is down at the mo.) However, see the bike in the background - that's my Tripster - The bike lock-up is safe here. ๐
(So safe in fact that I'd probably get a disciplinary for taking a photo in there!)
The foam is a pain - in the hot weather it sticks to the bike frame and makes a black gooey mess. ๐ก
