Anyone using one? They're on offer on CRC and at the price I'm tempted to take a punt for the hardtail I'm building.

Not expecting the world but how do they compare to the similar priced ones e.g. Tmars and RSP Plummet?

Delicate plastic lever, very slow return, hard to compress.

Hmm. Not too great then. Might stick to an old school post after all.

Mine's been improved greatly by fitting a ks southpaw lever, still slow to compress or return though

£70! Seems pretty good value.
I'd give it a punt and send it back if it's no good. CRC are very good with returns and CS.

It is a bit slow compared to the Lev on my other bike, but for that price i could get used to it! Actual post itself seems fairly well built.

Dammit, just when I'd decided to give it a shot it's sold out. Ah well.

The Brand X dropper post got a good review in STW's recent seatpost group test. A lot more expensive than the Oklo on offer but still a quite a bit cheaper than a Reverb or LEV.
