Duh. Usually you don’t have to unbolt everything as saddles can slip on when bolts are loosened enough.
If it is the dropper it is fairly easy to install but cable will be too short.
Fitting a saddle. Wouldn't slip on, so trying to hold the saddle, the post, top and bottom clamp, then put the cap head in and line it up with the barrel nut.
Take the post out and fit the saddle with everything upside down and the saddle on a worktop .
Managed to get mine on (just about) with the bolts threaded on a Thomson. Must admit, trying to fit a saddle when it won't do this is a massive swearfest.
If it's a dropper, trying to get it 'just so' in terms of cable tension will be the next pleasure for you.
