quick question:
anyone know if a 29.8 thomson seat clamp fits a old school cotic soul (27.2 seat post)? the salsa clamp i have is a 30.0, but does the 0.2mm make a difference?
it's that or a hope 30.0 clamp.

Not an exact answer, but I've got the 29.8mm thomson clamp on my inbred (supposed to be 29.8mm seat tube diameter) and it's almost completely tightened up so would think you'll have enough flex to fit to a 30.0mm tube - you are only needing 0.2mm.
