My flat bars sit nicely on the grips - no need for such products...
There may be a thread around about this anyway as it was in this weeks Fresh Goods Friday...

My bike has one of them built in, bar ends....
Wow, anyone who would go to the effort of carrying the portable ones is definitely in my 'mong' category!
Too wide to fit road bars though, missed a trick?
Solution in search of a problem?
The portable ones are for sticking in a car/van, not for carrying around in a camelbak!

They clearly market them for 'on trail' use.
Can't ever imagine anyone doing it though
Hah, so they do, consider me chastened.
Why is it frowned upon to fettle wheels/punctures with your bike upside down?
The stead stand looks okay but the rest could be knocked up in 5 minutes and look a bit rough round the edges.
Apparently it wrecks your 'expensive' kit & makes you look like a noobie....
It's much easier to take wheel out with the bike upright, then lay it down, then pick it up to put the wheel back in again. That's how the experts do it. Marvel at the condition of their grips & bar plugs...
I would stick a rolls eyes smile think in here, but it always goes wrong on my phone...
The only reason i dont put my bike upside down is because the forks leak slightly from the top and i dont want to scuff the seat.
WTF is that seatpost thing there selling?
it's a strap so you always get the saddle back at the same height. You can buy the velcro cable ties at toolstation....
mjsmke - do you have Rockshox air forks by any chance? A short period upside down is fine and helps lubricate the seals.
As for not putting the bike upside down - I don't because you end up getting your shifters full of muddy water. Just like the person who sold them to me had done and I then had to strip them down. At least I now have a better understanding of how shimano XT shifters are assembled and work ๐
