Serviced my Fox Floats last night, began with grinding the face of a 26mm socket down to fit the top caps then spent a nice relaxing couple of hours in the kitchen, dismantled the forks drained the old oil, removed the wiper seals, cleaned and dried everything then rebuilt them with new seals and oil then out to the garage and refitted them to the bike, little ride round the close, the compression damping adjust works, the lockout works and the rebound damping adjust works, new seals create a little bit of stiction but that was expected, pogo'd the fork a fair few times to make sure the new oil had fully filled the damping circuit, only 2 cups of tea during the operation then a celebratory beer afterwards, very pleasant evening and unless there's oil all over the garage floor when I get home, a job well done.
