[#5772021]

So angora seems to be the new merino and is sold by a few cycle clothing makers (including On-One).

Unfortunatly the process of getting the fur, as done by factories in China, is incredibly cruel and painful. Rabbits are completely plucked alive every few months, instead of the traditional slow teasing method used by ethical producers.

Lots of shocking scenes here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=angora%20rabbits%20china

Not nice!

Anything from PETA has little to no credibility imo.

Really, why? The video is pretty clear and the Chinese are known to be completely without feelings when it comes to dealing with animals?

H&M actually quit selling angora for this reason. The facts are pretty clear.
