What is the STW MTB built up from?
Those components that get a truly obsessive following on this forum.

off the top of my head and using recent trends...

Frame - on one 456 summer season
Forks - ? maybe revelations, pikes seem to be out of favour, perhaps something in a 36 flavour from Fox
Wheels - from the group buy thread, Pro II's on Stans Flows
Groupset - XT
Tyres - Conti Vert Pros
Saddle - Charge spoon
Lights - DX (yawn)
Bars/Stem/Post - Thomson

Any of that wrong? Does anybody own that bike?

Surely not a fox fork. Everything else fits.

Verts? are you sure?

definatley not verts

tyres is the one thing there'll never be a consensus on

i'd say a high roller and a racing ralph would be close

I was going to proudly say, I have none of it. But I have got a Thomson stem, dammit.

Surely the tyres would be the ST mag approved pairing of Blue Groove and Nevegal? Wheelset will be Pro2 for sure but I'd say they'd be on Mavic.

Question is... which brake pads? ๐Ÿ˜€

Feel sorry for you Mike. I recommend Immodium Plus, should clear that up soon as.

nothing has been as popular a reply as conti vert pros, kenda small block 8s came close but since then tyre opinion has been very split. Highrollers are probably a good choice.

brakes - hope m4's with 203rotors.
