Decided to get a lift with the other half this morning & take along my newly built SS project for couple of miles shakedown ride into work after finally taping the tubs on yesterday, first we run into a 10 mile tailback on the motorway & when I finally get the bike out of her car, I manage 1... 1 solitary pedal stroke & either the bottom bracket axle has snapped or the cranks weren't on tight enough & have slipped the splines (octalink) although I fear it may be the former... ๐ก
Should have just taken the sensible bike with the worn chainring - the devil you know & all that...
here's a picture of my woes

I'll manage to ride the b****** one day...
On a positive note, it's a nice day for a long walk.
Aye, not too bad actually... unless you grabbed the first pair of trainers at the door in a rush to get out & they've rubbed your heels to buggery, thus reminding you that's why you stopped wearing them ๐
