Somehow managed to do 242km and 2,500m of ascent over Sat-Mon. About half of that on a road bike.

munrobiker - is that last shot of yours Whiteless Pike above Buttermere?
Did you go up Grisedale Pike to Hopegill Head then across?
That ridge looks awesome - gonna do that some point soon.
Rascal- yes, it is.
Our way up was from Stoneycroft, up to Sail then Crag Hill and down to Wandope, then down Whiteless. It was excellent, it's tough in places but if you have your wits about you it's all rideable.
The way up towards the end looked excellent as a descent- a good ride I reckon would be up from Stoneycroft, left to Causey Pike (this isn't on the map) then right along the ridge from Causey Pike to Sail. Turn right at Sail, descending back toward Stoneycroft then turn left and over Barrow. Going to try it later in the year.
It's video (but quite a good one), can I still join in on the fun?Isn't this just an advert?

Not sure how long the Easter period lasts, but I'm happy to report that Pitfichie is dry and in places you might even call it dusty!

First ride for a long time where I haven't needed to take my shorts off before getting back in the car! Forecast is for a return to a more normal 9C and rain by the weekend, so it would have been criminal not to sneak a ride in really.
Big weekend of amazing dry and (almost) dusty riding in North Wales 😀
