Only one rubbish pic, but managed to get out twice. Once this morning on the CX and for a couple of hours messing around on Saturday. Weather was miserable Saturday but I spent most of it at the old BMX-track. Forgotten how exhausting it can be to get around it.

Wife and The Boy in the Karangahake Gorge. Took bikes on the train, then a 2km pootle along the rail trail to a waterfall - paddling, scrambling about on the rocks - pootle back to the station for lunch, train ride home. Top day out 😀
My eldest, away on a week long tri-service brass band camp (how middle class? 🙄 ) just texted me this morning to say I he hopes I enjoy being back at work - cheeky lad!

@OCB, what saddlebag have you got there.
It's a small Wildcat Tiger, with an Alpkit Airlok XTra 5l drybag in it.
The 'extra' strap around it is a home-made, extra long toe-strap - I've *always* carried a toe-strap on a bike to give me some extra versatility / redundancy, that's just a longer version.
Took my lad to QECP to try out his new (STW purchased) Boardman.
Such a fab day for it!
