Thinking of taking a blast around the monkey this afternoon. Anyone been there this past week who will know how busy its been OR NOT.
Its surprisingly quiet in the early evenings at the moment.
Stick your light summer tyres on - its certainly dry!
There are a few more people around than usual because of the hols but it's not busy by any means.
Cheers Guys will take a look later. Lovin the dry dusty conditions = no cleaning ๐
Yup conditions are most excellent at the moment. Have a good one
I was cursing my light drifty summer tyres on the Monkey this morning, it's so dry, dusty and sandy I was drifting sideways more than I was going forwards!
The Chase is ace at the moment, it's absolutely bone dry. Even the trails that stay muddy and unrideable (or at least, not fun) for ages are fast and dry right now.
Is even the worst of the cheeky stuff finally dry now?
The DH sections aren't much fun on a 4" travel XC bike, got rattled to bits last night due to the braking bumps everwhere!!
Heading North to the Chase tomorrow lunchtime, say hi to the Fat man on a turqoise 575....!

Just use them as jumps and pump bumps, or do you not have Dem Skillz ?

I often let out trumps, as I pump bump & jump. ๐
