thinking of heading to the gower in a couple of weekends time for a bit of camping. Was wondering if its worth chucking the hardtails in the van.

Is there any decent trails within close proximity. coastal etc?

thanks in advance

The classic Gower loop.

There's also Kilvey Hill and Clyne valley in Swansea, Afan and Brechfa are close, you've got plenty of mountains to the north and loads of local knowledge only trails that are hard to describe over the net.

Loads of riding down here.

I was there at the weekend and did a few rides behind the llangenith beach on the HT. There are some really nice trails there, especially some of the cheeky stuff

For someone who has such a low opinion of Wales you seem to keep visiting ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't have a low opinion of Wales. I think everyone should go there. Especially Wrecsam. For all holiday and mtb requirements. The roads suck though and this is made worse by muppets driving at 32mph admiring the scenery and braking randomly to do U turns in inappropriate places. This would annoy me greatly if I lived there permanently and explains why Welsh people are grumpy. Ironically the roads are ok by Wrecsam.
