[Closed] The Distance - anyone do it?

The missus entered, so I ended up marshalling at the top of Curbar gap, then sweeping. Loved the idea of it. Looked like an awkward course to pick a bike for. Gravel bikes were a handful for the offroad bits, but an MTB (as I rode, not having a gravel bike) was slooowwww on the tarmac sections.

Fun route - loads of trails that I'd not ridden in ages, despite being local(ish) to me, as they're either sub-gnar or have too much road to link them together, but as a social ride, worked really nicely. Beautiful day for it and a lovely spot for the overnight. Reminded me of biking in the late 90's early '00s.
