The malvern hills classic
Bring it back, always the summer highlight. Downhill, xc, slalom, eliminator, lake jumping it had it all, plus a real party atmosphere and festival of uk mtb.

The 10hr enduros put on by No Fuss Events ( http://www.nofussevents.co.uk/) are always really good - my favourite is 10 Around Kirroughtree. Top notch organisation, great atmosphere, laid back but competitive and some of the best MTB courses around.
Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross for the hardest one day race in the UK.
Mountain Mayhem for the atmosphere.
Dusk til Dawn just cos it's totally different.
Brownbacks racing, really good scenery, freindly locals, good marshalling and lots of prizes provided by a the numerous sponsors.
Oh and its a closed circuit so good for spectators and plenty of medical cover.
The original Polaris events. Awesome even if you were crap.
Mayhem for all the above reasons think I'll try enter a team of 10 to make it a more chilled afair.
Also enjoyed Afan Monster for the challenge of a hard course ๐
Birdfair!
Oh yeah, and the British Pizza Championships
esselgruntfuttock
i was gonna say polaris.....but i thought people would laugh at me..... ๐
invite only mate's races.
these new 'special stage' enduros (think kielder; average trail, brilliant race)
MegAvalanche
Brompton world champ's
Three Peaks cyclocross gets my vote as well (even though I am crap at it)
i forgot about no fuss --- they feel like mates races ๐
kielder 100
no fuss events
CRC series
Strathpuffer. End of really...
+1 for Kielder 100
the best organized and most enjoyable event I've done.
Another vote for No Fuss Events. Looking forward to Relentless next weekend.
3 Peaks Cx.
HtN (all of em).
Rassay Rumble- yep one of those i was there events for sure- Epic weather.
Dawn Raid Golspie- funny how the best ones have only run once.
Isle of Man end to end- Great event if you have not been try and get there sometime in your biking life.
Pop over the pond and do the Epic Blast.
Bristol bikefest

SPAM Set2Rise and September blast = 2nd best course
SPAM winter Challenge
MM
SITS
HtN
NoNC
Brecon Beast
Rough Ride
Plus, of course, any trailquest. (Did I mention I ride trailquests ?)
As events go I really enjoyed the Edinburgh Nocture Crit race. Great fun to watch, central city setting, the Folding Bike Race. Stood on Victoria St with a pint of Kruijkssvcceicejk in my hand.
Predictably this turns into a list of pretty much every event in the UK, though I'm amazed no-one else has mentioned the Singletrack Weekender. Close to top of my list the past two years. Would also add my vote to 10@Kirroughtree, and of course SSUK is always fun.
Dyfi Enduro and HtN
