I honestly think calling it for the mens' is a mug's game, everyone that gets named in this thread could take any of the podium seats, and more besides... Especially if the weather gives us a bit of chaos.

(secretly I want a 29er to win, just because the reactions will be worth seeing)

If a 29er wins, I couldn't really give a toss, wheel size is about the last thing I'm thinking of whilst watching some of the planets fastest riders battle it out.

Amazed by how much importance folks place on it tbh...
