Whats the score?

Weight, model, geometry, material, dealer?

It looks wicked, an option against the 456,p7,PA,Handjob and Chameleon I'm busy mulling over.

Yes very good (even though im selling mine, its not performance related)

It really is a "Do it all" Hardtail, old ones are extremely strong being made out of 853 but still retain that lovely springy steel ride. Even though its only a 16" frame the TT is very generous,

Excels on tight singletrack because of its short chainstay and is very stable in the air, it does wander a bit on the climbs with forks over 140mm but seems to be spot on with 130mm,

Have done a 35mile jaunt on it around blair atholl and glen tilt, and it was comfortable enough. And although im not a big fan of Trail centres it can handle Black style trails, Laggan.

The only thing i can think that limits it is the Seattube length being only 16", im 5ft 11" and im running a 400mm post at the limit (which is why im getting rid of it). Tip of saddle to pedal is 35".

Last plus side is it has the bling factor of being very rare.

Geo for the old one

Headtube angle: 69 w/ 5" fork
Headtube length: 4.5"
Headtube size: 1 1/8"
BB height w/26in wheel: 12.5"
BB shell: 73mm
Chainstay length: 15.5 - 16.75"
Toptube length: 23.17" Reg.
Toptube length: 24.1" Long
Seat-tube length: 16"
Seat post: 31.6mm
Front derailleur: 34.9mm

Regards Chris

scwimoid - can you email me some pics and how much you want for it - im 5'10" so may be ok for me as i have dumpy legs. Like a high seatpost for climbing though. Would probably get a dropping seatpost.

email in profile.
