I think I have 2 options
1) file out clamp to fit the top tube. It fits the 29.3mm downtube fine, but the 30.5mm top tube is too big. Crazy it's just over a mm difference.
or
2) find a clamp for the seatpost or seatpost clamp that does the same cable stop thing. Seatpost is 26.8mm.
or even use the noodle with a good canti and keep v up front. This might be better on the eye. Thoughts?

full length housing is the other option. Fitted with some of those M part adhesive zip tie mounts.

can't you open the clamp out a bit?

Full length is a very good idea I had never thought of - obvious really when pointed out.
