So I managed to splat myself on the GT blue trail this evening. Big time for me. Cuts and bruises from left eyebow to left knee.

Big thanks from the broken guy on the broken mmmbop to all that helped.

And sorry for the broken english / inarticualteness (can you help me get the the boot in my car / can you get the car in my boot / can you help get my car on the bike....bike etc).

Just back from accident and emergency. Better than expected for me (broken elbow but possibly the other too plus a head whack) but the bike (2 weeks old) has seen better days. Clothes and helmet also shredded ๐Ÿ™

But the concern and support of everyone getting home and the help getting the bike back in the car are much appreciated.

Hope I never have to return the favour!

Oh - and the blue trail can be / is a BALL BREAKER!

I fell off a tiny wall and almost bruised my banana, seems like a dangerous week for riding to me ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi Kit & thanks guys. My first major "off". Those near 45deg jumps(that probably arent jumps?) near the end of the blue + not concentrating + no skills = ****ed! Land front wheel first by a mile. Gravel rash from eye to bollox!

Jeez I hurt! Doc recomened a hot bath. Took me 45 mins to get out! Had to fill it to the brim just to get moving.

Pentlands sound nice and safe now!

Anyways - big thanks to all that chipped in. Ronan

ouch. but you are ok! That's the risk. even on simple stuff I get wary of a stupid off. But keep going for it anyway (at my own pace). You'd just be sat on the couch watching telly or shopping anyway, so **** it, you feel alive! good, a scrape here n there is good!

Sorry to hear about the off but glad you sort of ok. It is always the way the super tech stuff you are fine and then you take your eye off the ball for the "easy bit" and wham you hit the deck.

I've always thought that the GT blue had the potential to hurt if you get carried away as it's so fast.
