Anyone ever taken bike (in a box/bag) on TGV? Is it secure etc?

You think your bike will go missing?
My guess is the service wouldn't last too well if that happened much.
I've travelled with bikes on French trains, no problem.

I've just done it with my road bike in a bike bag. My experience was that there is very little space to put it, had to just leave it in the corridor. If your worried about how secure it is get a seat near to the luggage racks..
My bike has arrived back in one piece in a relatively thinly padded bag.
