So after the issues I had with Fishers taking 5 weeks to get my fork back to me, only to have the fork go wrong again, I sent the fork to TF Tuned.

I arranged for a service and fast upgrade online on Sunday night, with collection on Monday. The fork was collected on Monday despite such short notice, was serviced and upgraded today - with the fork tuned based on a conversation I had with the technician whilst he had my fork out on the bench and now it's out for delivery and should be here tomorrow!

Utterly brilliant! ๐Ÿ™‚ The FAST upgrade includes new rebound and compression pistons, custom shim stacks, external high and low speed compression controls with 24 clicks each and a lower friction glide ring in the damper assembly - it's designed to eliminate the spiking some people perceive with Pikes. I will post a review of the fast upgrade once I've done my week out riding in Wales. ๐Ÿ™‚

yeah, they sorted me out a few months ago with a problem Reba. Went above and beyond the required and didn't charge much either as was a persisting problem.

Great service for sure.

Hi
Bought a CCDB Inline off them a while ago which I wasn't ha pay with after about 6 rides.
A quick phone call had it picked up, serviced and back to me in 3 days with no charge at all and the shock is transformed now.
I know it should have been right from the start but these things happen and it's the way they put it right that's important to me.
Will happily use them again and maybe even pay next time.
Cheers
Steve

Thanks very much for the lovely feedback chaps! Always nice to read when you were last out of the door making the late drop to the courier ๐Ÿ˜‰

TFT have always been solid. It breaks my heart that my bike is now fully rigid so I have nothing to send off to them ๐Ÿ™

Just a shame Giant/Rutland were complete shitboxes that you had to go to a third party.

TFTuned are about the only bike company I can recommend without any hesitation at all. Consistently brilliant and an example of how to run a business properly.

Almost feels like jumping on the bandwagon, also kind of thought that everyone knows them so well they don't need recommendations, but they've looked after me with a CCDBI warranty and a service and repair on my CCDBA and they were utterly brilliant. Like Steve says, they (Murray) rang me when he had my shock in front of him to go through the details... Rare to find service like that.

Thinking about it, we only really ever hear about things when they go wrong, about time we openly praised those companies who really do go above and beyond. TF are without a doubt one of those companies.

That's because they live in Westbury.

They certainly did a good job of repairing and servicing my CCDB Air but unfortunately they forgot to put the travel o-ring back on! Other than that great service and communications

Made a set of Manipoo travis feel amazing back in the day. Properly night and day stuff.

Probably send my fork and shock there this winter, rather than SpamTech.

If I can add my experience..
Fox RP23 shock which after 6 days of being beaten and abused in the Alps inc. the Enduro 2, finally let go (it was 6 years old) and the airshaft and can wear just couldn't cope anymore.
Sent of to TF tuned who had previously push tuned it and made it behave properly, all serviced and problematic parts replaced but it had developed an air leak on its return.. Rang and spoke to the techs it was collected, repaired and a new part fitted, which I wasn't charged for ! back on the bike ready for the weekend.
Brilliant service, I like the service report too. So the forks have now gone for their annual MOT.
Keep it up TF ๐Ÿ˜€

I like that they send you your totally useless old parts back to you for inspection*

*so they don't have to pay for disposal ๐Ÿ˜‰

I like the fact they always call to tell you what the issue is and what they plan to do. The inclusion od the courier pick up makes it so easy as well.

Dave recently sorted out my CCDBA out - settings are awlays spot on

Very impressed, replaced something under warranty in my twinshots than was a common fault back in the day.

asked for my riding type and bike (Although I bet they either scratched their heads or laughed at my bike) sent it back to me with the setting detailed.

It's been faultless since.

Recieved my forks back, my god - these are a bit different now. A lot more sensitive but the real difference is how strong the low speed compression tune is. They feel a bit like a set of BOS forks on steroids - I'm even running less sag than before but a quick mess around seems to indicate that theres even less unwanted feedback coming through the bars than before.

They somehow feel more sensitive despite the proper racey feeling setup! The compression adjusters are better made, more solid feeling and each click makes a subtle but linear difference. Before I'd turn the LSC 10 clicks, feel very little in terms of change and then it'd suddenly ramp up a lot on the final 5-6 clicks. Now I feel as if the whole range of LSC adjustment has moved towards the closed end of the original damper - but with more subtle adjustment inbetween.

Nice one guys, looking forward to riding now. Sorry to hear that you were last our the door Ruth! Anyway, I will post more thoughts about the forks after I've ridden them for a week.
