Sort of think Tern should offer a non e version as well, but suspect the market would be very small. Still interesting bike..

Can put this on the back of your Landrover Defender & park it next to your BMW R1250 GS

I'm not a massive fan of e-bikes, but even to me that looks like it'd be hard work to pedal meat powered alone!

That's great - I thought the GSD was the most exciting bike anyone launched in the last decade.  Properly unique at th time.  If you don't need the fold then this is probably a better option.  Yes, it's super expensive but they're really well built.  there will be cheaper copy-cat products if it's a success.

@rootes1 Where did you find the 29er option?  Tern site only lists 27.5 with the 29x2.6 rims and fenders as after market extras.

some thought went into the sizing image.  I like that a lot.

I'm not sure I'd want to lift that over a deer fence.

I think you just ride straight through it 😂

Having done a little bit of mild offroad on my surly big dummy, I would most definitely want to have an electric motor than go full acoustic

It's bloody heavy and any cargo is dead weight

Having ridden off road with our GSD the larger wheel sizes and corresponding increases in tyre choice interests me but I feel the next ebike I buy will be a moustache etandem mtb.

I was going to say it doesn't look that different to a Big Dummy.

Taken my eBullit touring along gravel/fire roads. It was surprisingly OK.

R&M do a full sus cargo bike. However the fork is pants and the cargo area is caged which limits what you can carry.

Starting price at £5900. Seems a good price for what it is.

I'd buy one if I were selling the Scott genius.

920 ahem...

Having spent the last three days in Ghent and having borrowed the university janitors e-cargo bike for a wee spin, I've much want for such a practical, crazy and expensive bike....

Let’s see you put that in the bike cupboard of an Azuma train!

Rather have a Fargo than a Cargo!
