I might have missed someone mentioning this already: lose the lock-ons and get some foam (or slightly heavier ESI) grips. That'll be 60-100g right there for as little as a couple of quid.
Otherwise you can get carbon Easton Havoc bars for about £90 from a few German retailers right now. That'd be about 80g down.
the grips are only 95g a pair as it is
tyres are tubeless on the flows
go 1x10 with a lightweight chainguide. Swapping the 36t ring for a 32t would mean you would only lose your current 3 easiest gears. (+ 2 hardest gears)
should be doable for some weight saving and under 100 quid
Not an option really - think i will stick as is and replace the bars when i can get some spare cash together in a month or 2, also may get a Kronolog or reverb in place of the joplin when that dies

Not sure the exact weight of mine, but probably around 33lbs. Used to have lighter Fox 36 TALAS and DHX Air but weren't as good as the coils on now.
Have used it a little for Street, DH, Dirt Jumping, but mainly normal trail riding and road riding!
i think i have finished for now - weight lost = 1 3/4b or 810g, outlay = £81! Not bad i reckon.
changes are:
Crud - neoguard - 14g
Tyre st - 60a high roller - 200g
Easton Havoc bars - easton havoc carbon bars - 115g
Charge spoon - fizik tundra - 138g
Grips - normal s/star lock ons - 105g
Nano pedals - nukeproof electrons - 167g
Cane Creek spring - fox spring - 70g
these are all actual weights not catalogue weights btw
Are you not selling the coil shock now
Not sure you never got back to me
