Anyone used, compared, thinks it's effective, no good at all?

Cheers

By putting the pivots concentric with the rear axle, brake jack is eliminated. I've certainly never felt any on my Ex 8. Otherwise, similar to a horst/four bar.

Yeah I do think it's effective; works very well on my EX8. Had numerous other full-suspension bikes and, when compared, certainly feels like the suspension on the EX8 is more active under braking. The previous FS frame I had was a SC Superlight which, upon braking going down rough stuff, would feel like it had magically turned into a hardtail.

This is exactly what I find with my simple single pivot

Heavy, high speed braking and the bike goes into nose dive with the rear end hard, jacked, skipping. if you have to negotiate something and let the brakes off to do it, you're faced with a rocking horse situation...

You Trek boys get none o' dat?
